Vue Job

Posted by Stuart Aitken on e-on software's forums:

Hi there

we are Axis Animation, an award winning and fast expanding 3d animation studio based in Glasgow, UK

Axis is currently busy on a range of projects for video games, broadcast and commercials clients and has recently won best short film at Imagina for MTV's Codehunters and a BAFTA Cymru nomination.

We produce work for some of the worlds biggest games publishers and broadcasters including the BBC, Sony Computer Entertainment and Codemasters. You can see our most recent work on the Axis homepage at www.axisanimation.com

We have more commercials and next-gen video game projects starting soon and we're now on the look out for more talented people to join our team.

In particular we are looking for an experienced Vue d'Esprit artist to either work inhouse at our studios in Glasgow (or perhaps work remotely offsite) on several upcoming jobs from around the middle of may (flexable) to june/july this year - a longer term contract may be available after that point, but the post is short term freelance for now.

The work will entail generating sophisticated, realistic 3d environments including foliage and vegetation using Vue d-Esprit Xstream v6 in conjunction with either Maya or Lightwave based on concept artwork and directors instructions.

Applicants must be able to produce high quality work to a deadline.

If this sounds like you and you are interested please get in touch - this is an exciting oportunity to work with some very talented people in a positive and professional production environment.

Any enquiries should be made to:

Recruitment@axisanimation.com or call on +44 141 572 2802

thanks
