Chris (TheBryster) who was moderating the Renderosity Vue Forum had a stroke a few days ago. I'd like to add my best wish for a speedy recovery to those on Renderosity. Bill (SGT2005) who previously moderated the forum will be helping out in the VUE area.

A new Vue challenge has started at Renderosity...

ENORMOUS: A huge sense of scale - a giant mountain, building, structure, hallway, spaceship, animal, etc. You need a real-world object (character, car, house, etc.) to show in the picture as well to SHOW that the featured object is enormous, so keep that in mind when figuring out the image. So, using any version of Vue, create an image encompassing the theme of 'Enormous'.

The Deadline will be Midnight Renderosity Time October 31th 2009.

New Tutorials and Challenges

Gary Miller has posted a new tutorial about creating a golf course in Vue at Geekatplay studio. This runs alongside the Vue forum at Renderosity's challenge for November 2008 to create a golf course in Vue.

Geekatplay studio has also added 3 more Vue 7 tutorials and more Vue VFX tutorials.

Renderosity Artist of the Month (November 2008)

Jacob Charles Dietz has been named artist of the month (November 2008) at Renderosity for his work in the Vue gallery.

Carnival of Evil Competitions

e-on software is amongst the companies providing prizes in this years Halloween competitions, Carnival of Evil, at Renderosity. There are separate competitions for 2008 3D & Animation, Writing and Photography & 2D. Entries must be submitted by Noon on October 15th 2008 [CST].
