3D Artist Issue 41

Having completely missed issue 40 in the shops I spotter issue 41 today. Didn't spot anything Vue related in it.

3D World June 2012

Issue 156 of 3D World includes a long tutorial on using Vue with World Machine and a paragraph or two about Ozone 6.

3D Artist Issue 39

Issue 39 of 3D Artist includes a free full version of Vue 9 Frontier that can be downloaded from the magazine's website.  There is also a step by step tutorial on making an underwater scene in Vue.

3D World March 2012

There is a review of Vue 10 Infinite by Dax Pandhi in 3D World March 2012.

3D Artist Issue 38

There is a 2 page Q&A on creating a stony landscape with Vue in 3D Artist Issue 38.

3D World Magazine September 2011

Not a lot for Vue in the September 2011 issue of 3D World. There is a positive review of Carbon Scatter 1.0.

3D Artist Issue 29

Nothing specifically of interest for Vue leaped out of the pages of Issue 29 of 3D Artist magazine.

3D World Issue 143

After a quick flip through 3D World Issue 143 in WH Smiths I didn't spot any Vue related stuff.

3D Artist Issue 28

Nothing specifically of interest for Vue in Issue 28 of 3D Artist.

Digital Arts November 2009

Digital Arts November 2009 includes CD with what appears to be a copy of Vue 7 Pioneer (which can be downloaded for free from Cornucopia 3D). I didn't buy a copy and the issue was shrink wrapped so I don't know if there are any other Vue stuff inside.

3D World - December 2009

Issue 123 (December 2009) of 3D World is now available in the UK and includes a short tutorial for Vue in the Question and Answers section on generating trees with a planting plan.

3D Artist Issue 2 and Vue

3D Artist Issue 2 is on sale in the UK. Vue 7 Pioneer is included on the cover disc it also says there is free content download worth $100 (I made it $113.58 when I claimed it). To get the free Vue content follow the instructions on page 111 of the magazine but it helps to be logged in to Cornucopia 3D first. There is also a two page tutorial on getting started with Vue 7 Pioneer - not one an experienced user will discover anything new from but good for someone starting out.

3D Artist Issue 1

3D Artist Issue 1 is out now in the UK. It includes a review of Vue 7 Infinite which gave it 8 out of 10 overall. Otherwise no Vue related stuff I could see.

3D World Issue 111

The latest issue of 3D World (Issue 111 - Winter 2008) which is now on sale in the UK. It includes more than the usual Vue coverage including the Vue 7 advert seen in last months issue and a piece on the Vue 3D Environment Competition 2008. The real meat for Vue users is Ami Chopine's tutorial on using Vue 6 and After Effects to create a post apocalyptic environment image.

3D World - September 2008 and Vue

3D World Issue 108 (September 2008) is now available in the UK. This month there is a short tutorial in the Q&A section on making a wet road. There is a picture made using Vue in the Exhibition section too.

3D World - August 2008 and Vue

3D World issue 107 (August 2008) is now available in the UK. Not a lot in this issue specifically for Vue users from what I could see flicking through a copy in Liverpool's W.H. Smith. A full page devoted to the Vue 3D Environment Competition 2008 and a picture made using Vue in the Exhibition section (sorry the new W.H. Smith is rather cramped so taking a note of details wasn't possible if its your picture drop me an e-mail and I'll add your details).

3D World 103: bonus video training for Vue tutorial

A step-by-step guide to creating a South American landscape in Vue from 3D World issue 103 is now available free on the magazines web site. Amy Chopine from Geekatplay Studio has recorded a supplementary video tutorial on creating custom brushes, and provided a bonus content pack.

3D World - April 2008 and Vue

It's been a few months since there was anything specificly Vue related in 3D World but the April 2008 issue includes a few items of interest. On the DVD are two Geekatplay Studio tutorials along with the resource files for the tutorials. In the magazine is a Quick Question answer on how to make an image of the earth seen from space.

3D World Issue November 2007

Issue 96 of 3D World (November 2007) includes a short news item about Vue 6.5, the usual advert for Vue, some free HDR files on the cover disc and a one page tutorial on Methods for controlling GI in Vue.

ImagineFX Infinity and Beyond

ImagineFX have made a Vue tutorial, Infinity and Beyond, from issue 16 available on the magazines web site for free. It comes as two parts - the PDF of the tutorial and the supporting files.
