New Vue 6 Infinite Update

E-on software have released build 288741 of Vue 6 Infinite.

  • Importing camera tracking data always crashed on Mac.
  • Occasional crashes when performing duplicate / copy-paste / scatter / replicate of objects tracking or linking one another.
  • Manipulating complex hierarchical objects could become extremely slow.
  • Occasional artifacts when anti-aliasing radiosity renders.
  • When rendering subsurface scattering materials with very short penetration depths, rendering could not be aborted.
  • Automatic refreshing of material previews when modifying volumetric cloud materials.
  • On Mac, direct linking to the correct page of PDF manual.
  • On Mac, Vue could crash when exiting.
  • When creating or loading a new scene while editing layered materials directly from the material summary, Vue might occasionally crash.
  • Automatic switching from Basic material editor to Advanced material editor (upon loading a volumetric or EcoSystem material) could make Vue 6 Infinite crash.
  • Bump mapping was two times stronger than in Vue 5.
  • Bad interactive update of plant wind arrow in the viewports in some cases.
  • Both EPX and EXR modules were missing.
  • Wrong extrusion filter was selected by default when creating a text object.
  • When using floating licenses, the license server issued spurious warning messages.*
  • License server would repeatedly send messages about successfully retrieved license to Vue.
  • When loading some EcoSystem materials or scenes, a message about missing ".prv" files was displayed.
  • Both "Strange Layers.mat" and "Psycho Fuzz.mat" hypertexture material files were corrupted and make Vue crash on loading.
  • Rendering Animations to AVI or MOV video files via HyperVue couldn't complete properly.
  • Rendering Volume Shaded volumetric materials could sometimes freeze the application.
  • Network rendering of scenes containing copy protected items made RenderCows and/or HyperVue crash.
  • Rendering with field interlacing enabled made Vue 6 crash.
  • Rendering UV-mapped polygonal objects could somtimes exhibit randomly placed black spots.
  • Rendering within a MetaCloud object was turning background into an unexpected blue color.
  • Synchronized camera could produce glitches in final animation, especially with strong rotations.
  • Synchronization & Camera Tracking data wasn't properly preserved when reloading scenes. Such scenes couldn't be rendered via HyperVue properly.
  • Vue 6 crashed when re-saving scenes containing copy protected Cornucopia3D items.
  • Vue 6 crashed on exit after having imported camera tracking data.
  • RPF & RLA files (GBuffer multilayer files) couldn't be generated.
  • Vue 6 crashed when trying to change a layered material's topmost parent mapping mode.
