COST OF MAINTENANCE REDUCED AND NETWORK RENDERING NODES INCLUDED

April 12, 2010. Beaverton, Oregon: e-on software, maker of the leading solutions for natural 3D environments, today announced an immediate policy update and price drop on its professional Maintenance programs for Vue Infinite and xStream users.

New Maintenance Prices

To welcome more of its professional user base to its maintenance programs, e-on software has lowered the price of their Standard Maintenance plans for Vue 8 Infinite and Vue 8 xStream.

The cost per year and per license is now as follows:
Standard Maintenance for Vue 8 Infinite: $295 (was $395), one year extension: $195 (was $295)
Standard Maintenance for Vue 8 xStream: $395 (was $595) , one year extension: $295 (was $395)

New Maintenance Policy

Responding to its customer’s requests, e-on software updated its maintenance policy for both Premium and Standard maintenance plans to now include free upgrades for all network rendering licenses (Rendernodes and Rendercows), with the sole condition that all of the users’ Vue licenses are placed under maintenance.

This policy change takes effect immediately, including users currently under maintenance (i.e. users under maintenance who own network rendering licenses for Vue 8 will automatically receive a free upgrade to the corresponding Vue 8.5 Rendercows or Rendernodes, on the release day of Vue 8.5).

The following benefits are included in the Standard Maintenance Plan*:

  • Free upgrades during the subscription period, including free upgrades to all .5 and full versions,
  • Unlimited, priority web-based technical support,
  • Access to EEF releases (Expedited Engineering Fix),
  • Access to “Maintenance Only” forums.
  • Users currently under Standard Maintenance will keep the benefits
of their original contract until such maintenance plan expires.

Premium Maintenance Plans include all the above plus:

  • Access to a private ftp on e-on’s servers,
  • Four priority support incidents per product under premium maintenance,
  • Priority Problem Resolution,
  • Custom Development: users may contact e-on software support technicians with a detailed specification of the requested feature update. The e-on software development team will promptly analyze such specifications and respond with a quote for the development of a customized version.
